The Truth & The Tantrika

TRUTH

Truth, by definition, is adherence to actual existence, a verified and indisputable fact. It is authenticity and integrity. It is an accurate constant based in reality.

THE TRUE SELF

In Tantric philosophy, it is a perceived truth that every thing in the universe, animate and inanimate, is imbued with consciousness. This consciousness came to be known by Tantrikas as the True Self and spans infinitely across the universe on this time-space continuum and throughout all dimensions. It is a powerful presence of supreme intelligence and creativity. Through repeated meditation and various practices, it constantly and consistently presented with authenticity and integrity and was therefore recognised as the core truth of existence.

Discovering the True Self liberates one’s individual soul from suffering due to the vast perspective, wisdom and creative passion it brings. Upon finding the True Self from within, Tantrikas are then able to recognise it in others and encourage it to be expressed or assist them in finding it for themselves to bring further liberation.

THE TANTRIKA

The path of the Tantrika is laden with temptations and traps which intend to divert one away from the True Self. Ignorance, pride and untamed desire make these difficult to see at first but once they are seen, experienced and understood, the Tantrika can use them as fuel for greater empowerment and wisdom along the journey.

As soon as we enter this world we have to combat egos, agendas, desires and infinite possibilities in attempts to find ourselves and our greater purpose. On our walk we risk tripping over and falling into the traps of those set on acquiring others to fulfil their own dreams and desires for them. We may also become the ones laying traps to steal power from others, not realising it’s already within us.

Staying small and confined within familial, societal and cultural dogmas is not an option for the Tantrika. This is commonly desired by many people because it is a “safe” option for life with very limited personal growth. It’s not a life that will shine and sing of one living from the True Self and their unique soul expression. Also, the dangers of staying too close to home may be very damaging in the long run. Families and societies tend to create psychological shackling, ofttimes with shadowy stories of abuse kept secret and unresolved.

The Tantrika, upon discovering their soul as an aspect of the True self and their greater purpose of existence, begins to embody a natural radiance, peace and joy which is wholly nourishing.
