Men's Ejaculation

With Tantric paths that accept sensuality as an expression of spirituality, the main purpose of the practice is to attain spiritual freedom and enlightenment, using everything we have been given as human beings.

The fundamental principle of these paths of Tantra suggest that sexual desire is the basis for all human existence and the motivational force beneath all accomplishments. The Tantric practices work with this concept to guide us to confront this primordial force rather than deny it and master it so that we can use it creatively, for our greatest good.

Basic sex becomes transcendental lovemaking through effectively disciplining and directing sexual desire.

This is a practice of sexual restraint to attain the reward of maintaining one’s sexual life force energy, which comes in the form of semen in men and sexual fluids and menstrual blood in women. This is so that it can be used for extending life longevity and advancing physical, intellectual, and creative capacities and power.

Men lose this energy through ejaculating semen during sexual activities when they orgasm. Women lose this through menstruation and explosive orgasms, wherein they ejaculate and expel copious sexual fluid.

Common sex involving the above is typical of people who do not follow a spiritual path and for whom do not yet see sex as a sacred act. To change the ways in which we have sex means first adjusting our belief systems around it. For it to be sacred, we have to come to learn about how to make it sacred and bring spiritual dimension to it.

The practice of sacred rituals in other aspects of life would start to help this come about. These could include expanding perspective through reading and studying spiritual texts, purifying thoughts through breathwork and meditation, healing our bodies through proper rest, and adjusting diet to eat less meat, processed foods, refined sugars, and dairy. Other ways could include spending more time with people on a spiritual path and humbly learning from them, practicing yoga and mindful movement, and intentionally cultivating a positive attitude around sex and spirituality, seeing the link between them. Voluntary periods of celibacy also come into play here and can be profoundly beneficial as one adjusts their life habits.

Through the sexual techniques characteristic of authentic Tantra, men learn to consciously refrain from ejaculation upon orgasm, channel their orgasmic energy inwards, up their spine and into their crown and their lover’s heart, to fully nourish and fulfil them both in the act of lovemaking.

For Tantric rituals to be truly fruitful, wherein practitioners reap the deep and lasting rewards and spiritual realisations, disciplining sexual energy is a must. So the answer, in summary, is learn how not to ejaculate and instead conserve the energy.
