Dreams

Many of us lose sight of our dreams as we age, get ill or take on the burdens of responsibility. It seems easier then to follow the status quo than to live by our truth and heart and strive to make our dreams become reality. However, we need dreams to comes true to feel inspired and thrive here on earth.

Special care must be taken with nurturing our dreams. They are at first, like the soft light of stars filtering through the night sky to us. When dreams have first seeded in our minds from our souls, they seem like such distant and unreal things, but dreams, like stars, are powerful and incredibly radiant once we start to reach for them.

Be mindful of the clouds and storms that you cast about yourself or let others cast over you. They prevent you from setting your sight on what you want most deeply, more than anything. Sometimes we don’t know how to resolve our cloudiness and find the way to clarity. Sometimes we don’t want to because we think we like where we’re at, not knowing another way. Maybe we even enjoy playing with the shadows cast by the storms.

Those of us consumed by our shadows would do almost often anything to feel better about the poor life choices we made, which held us out of reach of what we most desired, including sabotaging others’ lives and chances at thriving in a life they love.

Hold your dreams safe and sacred. Carve out a piece of ever-present clarity across your psyche so that you may always hold sight of your dreams and strive to see them manifest into being. Reveal your dreams only to those who uphold you with love, faith and encouragement. Believe in yourself and your dreams.
