Retreat Terms & Conditions
Tantric Retreat in Amorgos, Greece
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern the participation of persons (hereinafter referred to as "Participants" or "you") in the Tantric Retreat ("Retreat") organised and hosted by White Dakini (hereinafter referred to as "we", "us", or "our") in the beautiful Amorgos, Greece, scheduled to take place from 1st September to 8th September 2024. By booking the Retreat, Participants agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions set out below, ensuring a mutually respectful and enriching experience for all involved.
2. Reservation and Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total Retreat fee is required to secure your reservation. You have a cooling-off period of 72 hours from the time of the initial payment wherein you may receive a full refund.
Participants may choose to either:
a) Make a 50% deposit or pay in full through our website,
b) Pay a 25% deposit, initiating a payment plan. Contact us for more details hi@whitedakini.com, or
c) Pay with Paypal. Additional fees apply.
The final balance of the Retreat fee is due no later than 30 days prior to the Retreat start date.
3. Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations made up to 4 months before the commencement date of the Retreat will receive a full refund of the paid amount, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
Cancellations made between 4 and 2 months before the commencement date of the Retreat will receive a 50% refund of the paid amount, excluding the non-refundable deposit.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 2 months of the commencement date of the Retreat.
4. Participant Eligibility
Participants must disclose any physical or medical conditions that may affect their ability to participate in retreat activities. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure they are medically fit to engage in the activities.
Prior experience in tantra, yoga or breathwork is not mandatory for attending the retreat. However, participants are required to disclose their experience levels with these practices to ensure tailored guidance and support during the retreat.
5. Retreat Schedule and Activities
The duration of the retreat is 7 days and 7 nights, commencing on 1st September and concluding on 8th September 2024. The retreat will take place at Agios Pavlos, Amorgos, Greece.
Activities of the retreat will commence with an opening circle at 5:00 PM on Sunday 1st September and will conclude after the closing circle at 10:30 AM on Sunday, 8th September.
From 2nd September to 7th September, the daily schedule will include a morning session (7:00 AM to 12:30 PM) and an evening session (6:00 PM to 9:00 PM). These sessions will the Retreat activities, as well as designated times for breakfast and dinner. Any changes to the schedule will be communicated to participants in advance.
The Retreat activities include meditation, journaling, tantric wisdom classes, tantric solo, partner and group exercises, yoga, breathwork and energy work to support you in achieving reset, revitalisation and reconnection.
6. Conduct, Consent and Boundaries
Participants are expected to behave respectfully and considerately towards all attendees and staff during the Retreat. We reserve the right to ask any participant to leave the Retreat without refund for behaviour deemed inappropriate, disruptive or dangerous to themselves or others.
Participants must seek and respect mutual consent in all interactions and activities during the Retreat. Consent must be freely given and continuously affirmed. Coercion or disregard for personal boundaries is strictly prohibited.
Participants have the right to make informed choices about their involvement in Retreat activities. We commit to respecting individual autonomy and accommodating participants' preferences.
7. Health and Safety
Participants acknowledge and accept that the Retreat involves physical, emotional and spiritual activities with inherent risks. By attending, Participants voluntarily assume all associated risks, including:
A. Physical risks: activities like yoga and meditation involve exertion; Participants are responsible for their physical well-being and should refrain from exceeding their limits.
B. Emotional risks: the Retreat may evoke strong emotions; Participants are encouraged to communicate openly with us regarding emotional disturbances and practice self-care.
C. Spiritual risks: spiritual practices may challenge personal beliefs; Participants should approach this retreat with an open mind while respecting their boundaries.
Participants must disclose to us any medical conditions or special needs that may affect participation. Participants agree to indemnify White Dakini against liability for undisclosed medical information, except in cases of gross negligence.
Participants acknowledge that they are participating in the Retreat at their own risk.
8. Travel and Insurance
Participants are responsible for arranging and covering the costs of their own travel, including flights and transportation to Amorgos, Greece.
We strongly recommend participants purchase travel insurance and flexible, refundable travel arrangements to cover any unforeseen circumstances, as we will not be held liable for any injuries, losses or expenses resulting from any causes beyond our control.
9. Limitation and Exclusion of Liability
We shall not be liable for any injury, loss, expense, claim, damage or any special, exemplary, punitive, indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any kind arising out of or connected with the Retreat.
Nothing in these terms will limit any liabilities in any way that is not permitted under applicable law or exclude any liabilities or statutory rights that may not be excluded under applicable law.
Our liability to you under these terms and conditions is capped at the amount paid for the Retreat.
10. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality
Participants agree that all materials, resources and intellectual property provided during the Retreat are the exclusive property of White Dakini. Participants may use these materials solely for their personal use and may not reproduce, distribute or modify them in any form without prior written consent from us.
Participants agree to maintain the confidentiality of all personal experiences shared during the Retreat. Participants shall not disclose any confidential information obtained during the Retreat with third parties without the express consent of the individuals involved.
11. Photo and Film Content Consent
Participants acknowledge and consent to the capture and use of their photographic and/or videographic likeness, including images, recordings and footage, for promotional, educational or documentation purposes related to the Retreat. Participants grant us unrestricted rights to use, publish and distribute such materials without compensation. Participants release us from any claims arising from the use of
their likeness. Participants wishing to opt out of being photographed or filmed must notify us in writing before the Retreat. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Greece. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this agreement, including any question regarding its existence, validity or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.
If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable under any applicable law, it shall be deemed modified to the extent necessary to make it valid, legal and enforceable. If such modification is not possible, the provision shall be deemed severed from this agreement and the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not be affected or impaired in any way.
13. Amendments
We reserve the right to update or alter any parts of these Terms & Conditions at any time, with any changes posted on our website. It is your responsibility to be aware of these terms at any moment in the lead up to the Retreat and during it.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By making a deposit, you affirm that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions, inclusive of all outlined provisions and policies.
